对呼吸系统感染、支气管哮喘、支气管扩张、肺癌等常见呼吸疾病诊治以及各种呼吸危重症和疑难罕见病的诊治有丰富的实践经验。
现任中国医药教育协会呼吸病康复专业委员会副主任委员、中国防痨协会肺结核分枝杆菌病专业分会常务委员、中华医学会呼吸病学分会慢阻肺学组委员、中国医师协会呼吸病学分会危重症血族委员、广东省医学会呼吸病学分会第六、七届副主任委员、广东省医学会结核病学分会副主任委员、广东省医学会呼吸病学分会慢阻肺学组组长、广东省慢阻肺联盟主席、广东省健康管理学会呼吸专业委员会副主任委员、广州市医师协会呼吸医师分会主任委员。
主持多项省市级科研课题，在国内外杂志发表论文120余篇。
获广东省科技进步奖特等奖一项，广东省科技进步奖三等奖一项,广州市科技进步奖三等奖二项。2003年获全国和广东省五一劳动奖章，广州市劳动模范。

Possesses extensive practical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common respiratory diseases such as respiratory infections, bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, and lung cancer, as well as various critical respiratory conditions anddifficult rare diseases.
Currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Respiratory Disease Rehabilitation Committee of the China Medicine Education Association, Standing Committee Member of the Tuberculosis and Mycobacterium Disease Branch of the Chinese Anti-Tuberculosis Association, Committee Member of the COPD Group of the Respiratory Disease Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Committee Member of the Critical Care Group of the Respiratory Disease Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Vice Chairman of the 6th and 7th Respiratory Disease Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, Vice Chairman of the Tuberculosis Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, Leader of the COPD Group of the Respiratory Disease Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, Chairman of the Guangdong COPD Alliance, Vice Chairman of the Respiratory Committee of the Guangdong Health Management Association, and Chairman of the Respiratory Physician Branch of the Guangzhou Medical Doctor Association.
Has led multiple provincial and municipal research projects and published over 120 papers in domestic and international journals.
Awarded one Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Guangdong Province, one Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Guangdong Province, and two Third Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress of Guangzhou. Received the National and Guangdong May 1st Labor Medal in 2003 and was honored as a Model Worker of Guangzhou.
